So you think you may be pregnant? The only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test. The test will look for a hormone called hCG which is a chemical you get in your urine and blood when you are pregnant. If the test is negative, you might still be pregnant. Wait a few weeks and take the test again. If the test is positive, you are definitely pregnant.
If you had unprotected sex within the last 5 days and want to avoid getting pregnant use emergency contraception.
